Well we are here and since Im typing on my phone I'll keep it brief. After a nice car ride from geneva we arrived to our chalet in pelvoux. Settling in with a nice french meal we spent the next day checking out the first climb of the teams race. To get to the start there is a lovely xc ski trail along the valley bottom. The next couple of days involved more race preparation with some easy skiing transition training and some moe course recon. It is great to have martha burley staying with us as she is an excellent cook. There is always fun to be had in the gear shops. No shop we have been in has had a full selection of race gear but they always seem to have a couple of random items.
